In other words, socialism is not a utopian theory aimed at impossible changes. Any socialist theory that is impractical or impossible is an inadequate socialist theory.

All societies are socialist, when have more than 2 people co-existing together, it becomes a socialist relationship.

But some societies are more socialist than others. We have to believe that societies exist in order to build a socialism that takes society seriously. There are neoliberals who believe that societies do not exist, that only individuals and families exist.

Even far right talk radio hosts like Limbaugh and others, could not have the platforms they have, the security they have, without living within socialist society.

The rights some of us enjoy more than others are protected by the modern liberal state, not by society. If society governed itself, there would very likely be a fairness doctrine when it comes to talk radio and TV.
